Crafted from premium NO.3 steel, the screw spike features a threaded nail rod surface, earning it its name. It boasts a pull-out resistance that is 0.5 to 1.0 times stronger than a common rail spike, while the thrust resistance is reduced by 50%. Although it presents challenges in disassembly and rail gauge adjustment, it is predominantly utilized in railway turnouts.
